Recently, Dragonbot members Andrew Torry and Emmitt Ogletree were asked to design and build a moving arm mechanism that display festive characters at our school's annual "Holiday Extravaganza".

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the FLL Dragonbots (Team #48425) competed in their first competition of the season. They truly exemplified perseverance under pressure and incredible teamwork, overcoming every obstacle in their path. 

LEAGUE MEET #3

DECEMBER 13TH, 2025

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, we competed in our third league meet and placed 7th overall with 208 points. 

At this meet, we were having issues with our launcher again. Two of the balls would launch fine then the third one just completely undershot. Sometimes, all of them would undershoot. 

Additionally before Qualification 13, our left wheel was completely locked. We would like to give a shoutout to Team #26507 Geneton (@genetonfsa) for assisting us with this issue.

Hopefully we will be able to fix some stuff on our robot to be ready for Meet #4 in January.

BACKUP-BOT SERIES STARTUP

DAY 1

DECEMBER 16TH, 2025

On Monday, December 16, 2025, we began building our back-up robot. We will use it to test and experiment with new styles on our main robot. Our first version will be a two track launcher and an automatic intake. On this robot we will also try to get a 12 shot autonomous.

Sorry that it's been a while since the series has continued!

On Friday, December 16, 2025, we continued building our back-up bot. So far, we have the frame complete and are working on programming our vision sensors.
